Supercuts Opens in Needham's Gateway Plaza
The local salon is the company's 101st in the greater Boston area.
Supercuts has opened a new salon located in the Needham Gateway Shopping Center at 120 Highland Ave.
The shop, located in the plaza at the corner of Highland and Second avenues alongside , and , has been empty since the Verizon store left in November 2011.
The Needham salon is the 101st Supercuts in the greater Boston area, according to a press release from the company. A division of Regis Corporation, Supercuts has more than 2,110 locations across the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.

“It’s always fun to bring a brand that people know and trust to a new location,” Supercuts franchisee David Habas said in the press release. “The Needham community has been very welcoming since we opened, and we’ve really enjoyed getting to know our new clients.”
The salon offers adult haircuts at $15.95 and children and senior haircuts at $13.95, as well as other styling, coloring and waxing options.

Salon hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome. Customers also can use a call-ahead service by dialing 781-444-4346. Supercuts accepts all major credit cards and cash.
Supercuts has been serving communities in the greater Boston area for more than 25 years, according to the press release.
