Town Reminding Residents of Disaster Assistance Extension

Deadline for applications moved to June 28

If you suffered home damage as a result of flooding earlier this year, you now have more time to file for the US Government's Disaster Assistance Program.

With the news that FEMA has extended the program's deadline to June 28, the Town of Needham issued reminders this week that applications are continuing to be accepted.

Originally scheduled to end May 28, the program was extended "due to consistent flow of new registrations through last month," according to Omar Fraser, Public Information officer for FEMA External Affairs.
