Treat Cupcake Bar Bakes for a Cure

You don’t need to be a scientist (or a runner) to help find a cure for breast cancer. All you need is a mixer and some frosting! At Treat Cupcake Bar, 50% of all purchases of their special Treat Others Well (TOW) cupcake goes to a new local charity each month. Special to the month of May, Treat Cupcake Bar will partner with the 15th Annual Boston Bakes for Breast Cancer. From May 5th to May 11th, 100% of the proceeds from TOW cupcake purchases will benefit Breast Cancer Research.

The mission of Boston Bakes for Breast Cancer is to “further the education, research, prevention, and treatment of breast cancer by supporting breast cancer research and treatment institutes.” Find out more here. Treat is excited to partner with them for another year to help bring awareness and support to this worthy cause. Proceeds from Boston Bakes will be donated to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Bakes for Breast Cancer, Inc. (a non-profit breast cancer organization dedicated to making a difference.)

The Treat Others Well cupcake (TOW) is a unique program designed to show support for youth wanting to make a difference in the Needham and Greater Boston communities. TOW creates a platform to speak out about various concerns while simultaneously assisting deserving charities in their efforts to better their services. The program is intended to be kid-run, meaning all requests are encouraged to come from youth. TOW supports a different charity each month.
