'Understanding the Different Forms of Dementia' hosted by Bridges by EPOCH at Westwood (May 7)

Bridges by EPOCH at Westwood will host the presentation, "Understanding the Different Forms of Dementia," on Thursday, May 7 at noon.

Bridges by EPOCH at Westwood will host the presentation, “Understanding the Different Forms of Dementia,” on Thursday, May 7 at noon at the Bridges by EPOCH at Westwood Welcome Center, 252 Providence Highway in Lambert’s Rainbow Square. Attendees will learn the differences between the various forms of dementia – from Alzheimer’s disease to Lewy body dementia and vascular dementia. The presentation will be led by Bridges by EPOCH Memory Care Director Alicia Seaver, a memory impairment specialist certified by the National Institute on Aging and Teepa Snow. A light lunch will be served.

This event is part of Bridges by EPOCH at Westwood’s ongoing educational series on memory care. Presentations are free and open to the public but space is limited. Bridges by EPOCH at Westwood, located at 140 University Ave. in University Station, is a memory care assisted living community that will open in summer 2015 and include 64 apartments.
