Wasserman Endorsed by Planned Parenthood Advocacy Fund
Planned Parenthood focuses on "safe and age-appropriate sexual education" and advocates for reproductive rights.
The campaign to elect Jerry Wasserman has announced the support of the Planned Parenthood Advocacy Fund of Massachusetts in the following press release:
The Jerry Wasserman campaign for State Representative is proud to announce that Planned Parenthood Advocacy Fund of Massachusetts has endorsed Jerry for State Representative in the Thirteenth Norfolk district, including the towns of Needham, Dover, and Medfield.
Planned Parenthood, a non-partisan organization, is the nation's largest and most trusted provider of reproductive health services. In addition, Planned Parenthood focuses on safe and age-appropriate sexual education, as well as advocating for reproductive rights on the local, state, and national level.

"The Planned Parenthood Advocacy Fund has endorsed Jerry Wasserman for State Representative because he is an unwavering advocate for reproductive rights and responsible sexual health and education," said President/CEO Dianne Luby. "We are confident that Jerry, as a state representative, will continue to fight for these causes and work with the reproductive health community going forward".
"I am honored to receive the endorsement of Planned Parenthood," said Wasserman, "I am a firm supporter of a woman's right to choose and oppose any attempt to infringe on the rights laid out in Roe v. Wade. I also strongly support the work Planned Parenthood does on educational and reproductive health issues. If elected to the state legislature, I look forward to working with Planned Parenthood to ensure reproductive rights are protected."

As a member of the School Committee, Jerry was instrumental in implementing age-appropriate sex education in the Needham school system, ensuring a healthy and safe curriculum for classes. Jerry Wasserman is running in the Democratic primary election on September 14th.
