Briarwood Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, a proud member of the Marquis Health Services family, is proud to announce the prestigious addition of Dr. Agam A. Shah to its stellar staff of specialized clinicians.
Conveniently located in the heart of residential Needham, Briarwood Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is a 120-bed Subacute Rehab and Nursing Community recognized for successfully maintaining its re-hospitalization rate down, and attaining a 5 star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) - exceeding their standards of care.
Upholding Marquis’ distinctive Rehabbing Care™ motto, Briarwood will certainly benefit from Dr. Shah’s appointment as orthopedic consultant, and gain from his extensive experience utilizing the Alter G Anti-Gravity treadmill, which allows individuals to run or walk with reduced impact using patented NASA technology.

A Massachusetts native, Dr. Shah received his medical degree from the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey. He completed his surgical internship and residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Tufts Medical Center and underwent a fellowship in Orthopedic Sports Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
Currently in practice at Orthopedics New England, Dr. Shah is a respected member of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, whose specialized expertise includes ACL (Anterior Cruciate Ligament) repair, total joint replacement, and non-surgical treatment of arthritis.
