Wings for Autism, November 7th at Logan Airport

November 7, FREE event, Wings for Autism program sponsored by the Charles River Center

The Wings for Autism program is designed specifically for families with children with autism to help ease the stress of flying.  A FREE event open to all will be held on November 7th, at Logan Airport at 9am.

During this FREE, half-day event, children and their families are able to familiarize themselves with the airport and travel procedures.  They experience entering the airport; the check-in process and checking bags; security screening; boarding the plan; preparing for take-off; and exiting the plane.

Wings for Autism was created by the Charles River Center, a chapter of The Arc located in Needham, MA, in collaboration with the Mass Port Authority and TSA.
