Bake Shop in Newton Makes Phantom's 'Great 8' Spot for Chocolate

Chocolate lovers - er, addicts - will tell you that when the craving hits, there is no substitute. And those chocolate lovers want the best of the sweet stuff around.

The Phantom Gourmet’s put together its “Great 8” list, featured here on CBS-Boston Channel 7 News.

In a list that includes Chocolate Therapy in Framingham and The Spot in Norwood, Cupcake City rounded out the list of eight. Located in Reading and Newton, the Phantom said the bake shop serves cupcakes with “big flavor.” “When it comes to chocolate, they don’t mess around with creations like the Hot Fudge Sundae – spiked with chocolate chips in the batter; the dense and chocolaty S’mores – topped with a marshmallow frosting, and an elevated version of the Hostess cupcake,” said the Phantom Gourmet.
