Copper clay can be used to make many different objects, including jewelry charms, earrings, and pendants. Once the clay is fired it becomes copper metal. The final result is a beautiful item that looks like bright copper, sometimes with hues of pink, blue, and green. We'll review the basic techniques of planning and designing a project, adding texture, rolling the clay, stamping, firing, polishing, and finishing. No prior experience is necessary. 30 grams of copper clay will be available for purchase during class. A materials fee of $28 is payable to the instructor at the beginning of class, which will take place at Bead & Pearl 1183 Walnut Street, Newton Highlands, MA 02461.
