JCC Trapeze and Circus Camp

Fly on a trapeze with the greatest of ease at a two-week Flying Fantasy Circus Camp at the Leventhal-Sidman JCC in Newton (333 Nahanton Street) from August 22-September 2. From a full size, outdoor, double flying trapeze, children in grades 1-8 will experience the thrill of swinging on a trapeze, as well as learn to juggle, balance on a wire, and be a clown.

Camp will be conducted by world-renowned circus performer and trapeze master Tito Gaona.  He and members of his family, Tito and The Flying Gaonas, have performed for nearly two decades with the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, the Big Apple Circus and numerous top European circuses.

The two-week camp, which runs from 9am-4pm each day, culminates in a Flying Fantasy Circus Show that will highlight the “circus stars” and their newly developed skills. Safety belts, safety lines and safety nets are used throughout the camp. Early drop-off and extended day options available. The camp is open to the entire community.
