Several former and current wrestling coaches (Kevin Randall, PJ Cameron, John Passarini, John Staulo, and Kevin Russo) have started a youth wrestling program — the Mad Dog Wrestling Club — for the kids of Newton as well as surrounding communities to learn the sport of wrestling. A parent information meeting will be held at the Fessenden School/wrestling room in the Pallotta Athletic Center (450 Crafts Street, West Newton) on Wednesday, September 7th at 7:30PM. Parents will have the opportunity to meet our coaches, learn about our programs as well as the sport of wrestling (if they are new to the sport); in person registration will also be available. The club has two current programs:
- Youth Program (grades 4-8) – will meet on Wednesday evenings from 7-8:30PM.
- High School Program – will meet on Monday evenings from 7-8:30PM.
