Newton Safe Routes to School Task Force Informational Meeting
Thursday, May 24, 9am at City Hall Room 202
The Newton Safe Routes to School Task Force was established in 2006 with goals to increase the number of children who are walking to school or car pooling, to improve safety education, identifying safety issues and work together to resolve, and help focus City efforts on improving the pedestrian and traffic conditions around our schools. It has been the Mission of the Newton Safe Routes to School Task Force to achieve these goals by having representation from all Elementary and Middle Schools on this Task Force and part of the National Safe Routes to School program.
