More Car Break-Ins, Golf Cart Joy Ride: Newton Police Logs
More car break ins added to last week's total and someone took a joyride in a golf cart and someone was found unconscious near the T.

NEWTON, MA — Newton Police said all went well at the Boston Marathon this week and they didn't arrest anyone. The following is taken from Newton Police logs available online and emails from the Newton police. Just because someone reported an incident doesn't mean that's the way it actually unfolded. Friday, April 13
Car break ins: At least four more people reported their cars were broken into overnight, including four on Glenn Ave, one on Langley Road and another on Warren Street. (see last week's list of car break ins: Previously On the Newton Police Logs)
Saturday, April 14
More?: A Warren Street resident reported their car was broken into. Later someone on Carlisle Place reported their car was broken into, too.

Shoplifted: Someone at the Apple Store on Boylston called to report a man snatched two Bose Quiet Comfort 35 Wireless headphones concealed them in his jacket and left the store.
Malicious damage? Someone called to report that there was "ongoing damage" to a car happening on Lincoln Street.

Sunday, April 15
Car issues: Someone called to report a car was broken into on Warren Street.
Are you sure it wasn't towed?: Someone called to report he parked his personal 2011 gray Ford F-150 at 10 p.m. yesterday at the Sunoco/Negoshians Towing on Elliot Street at and then when he went out today noticed his car was not there any more.
Vandal: Someone at the Brae Burn Country Club on Fuller Street called to report a vandal around 12:40 p.m.
Monday, April 16
Enough with the break ins: Someone else reported a car break in on Warren Street.
Joyride: Someone Brae Burn Country Club reported that sometime between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. on April 14, someone took a golf cart from a locked garage at the club and then took it for a a joyride around the course.
Locked out: Someone on Charlesbank Road called police to tell them they were locked out of their home.
Tuesday, April 17
Break in: A Hollywood Drive resident called police at 2:04 p.m. to report their home was broken into.
Tasty?: Police responded to a report of a dog bite on Beacon Street just before 3 p.m.
Suspicious: At 9:06 p.m. someone on Bonmar Circle reported what they thought to be a suspicious incident.
Wednesday, April 18
Stolen licence plate: Reported at 10:59 a.m. on Fenwick Road.
Unconscious person: Reported at 2:32 p.m. at the Riverside MBTA.
Shoplifting: Reported at 4:33 p.m. at the Karma Fine Imported Crafts store on Union Street.
