Newton Summer Camps 2016: Visit This Year's Camp Fair
The fair will be in the Newton North High School cafeteria on Jan. 31.

NEWTON, MA - If youâre thinking about sending your kids to camp this summer the Annual City of Newton Parks and Recreation Camp Fair could help steer you in the right direction.
The fair will be in the Newton North High School cafeteria on Jan. 31 from noon to 4 p.m. or on Feb. 7 if there is a snow day. Registration for Parks and Recreation camps will not be accepted at the fair, but there will be plenty of staff available to answer questions.
Registration begins online on Feb. 3, the Wednesday after the camp fair, or Feb. 10 if there is a snow day. Newton Community Education programs will be accepting registrations at the Camp Fair.

The fair will also include STEM Discovery Stations featuring Mad Science, Brain Builders, Legos and more from noon to 3 p.m.

Newton Parks & Recreation Camp Information
- Preschool day camps for kids ages three and a half to five
- Elementary school day camps for children going into Kindergarten through sixth grade
- Summer vacation camps for children entering first through sixth grades
- Middle school day camps for children entering fifth through eighth grades
- Counselor In Training programs for kids entering grades eighth through 11th
- Sports and specialty programs for kids ages 18 months to 18 years, including a four-day golf clinic
Newton Public Schools Camp Information
- SPACE Camp for Kindergarten to 9th grade: Monday, July 5, to Thursday, July 28. Morning, full-day and extended hours programs are offered. Cost is $1,200 to $1,650.
- Newton Community Education programs, including arts, sciences, technology, cooking and more for 4th through 10th grades
- Garden City Sports Camps
