The Performing Arts Series Presents Exhibit & Reception Featuring Works by Carolyn E. Lovit

The Performing Art Series is pleased to present works by Carolyn E. Lovit. This special exhibit will be on display at the Hammond Residential Real Estate office located at 826 Boylston St. in Chestnut Hill through January 15, 2018.

The public is invited to an artist’s reception on Thursday, October 5 from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the Chestnut Hill office. The reception and exhibit are free and open to the public. The paintings included in the exhibition are being offered for sale, with a portion of the proceeds going to The Greater Boston Food Bank.

Lovit, whose works are part of private collections throughout the United States, as well as in Great Britain and Israel, finds much of her inspiration in nature and the world around her. She began her career as a representational watercolor artist before moving to a more abstract style using acrylic paints. The long-time Brookline resident has exhibited her paintings throughout the region and continues her studies under Bill Commerford at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.

The Performing Arts Series was created in 1996 to enrich the cultural communities that the company services, as well as to provide talented artists and up-and-coming musicians with performance opportunities throughout the region.
