A "Second Chance" for Holiday Shoppers

Holiday retail, greyhounds, charity

Natick thrift shop Second Chances is providing shoppers with a way to purchase unique and inexpensive holiday gifts while simultaneously donating to Hopkinton-based animal charity Greyhound Friends.

Items for sale include antique glass wear, end tables, lamps, baskets, jewelry, books, dishes, clothing, small furniture, holiday decorations and much more. Greyhound-related goodies and never-been-opened donated items are also for sale. All sale proceeds benefit Greyhound Friends, a nonprofit dedicated to saving racetrack greyhounds and placing them in responsible loving homes. Items donated to Second Chances can be used as a tax deduction. Second Chances is located on the southwest corner of Route 135 and Route 27 next to the Natick Town Common.

Please visit www.secondchancesthriftshop.com for more information on the store and how to donate items. Please visit www.greyhound.org or call 508-435-5969 for more information on Greyhound Friends.
