The Shops at Chestnut Hill Unveil Official Name Change

On December 2nd, The Shops at Chestnut Hill hosted a special Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to unveil the Center's official name change.

On December 2nd, The Shops at Chestnut Hill (formerly, The Mall at Chestnut Hill) in Chestnut Hill, MA, hosted a special Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to unveil the Center’s official name change to The Shops at Chestnut Hill. VIPs in attendance included:Brian Nelson, VP of New England for Simon, Justin Feldhouse, General Manager at The Shops at Chestnut Hill, Newton-Needham Chamber of Commerce President,Greg Reibman, and on-behalf of Mayor Warren’s office, James Freas, Director of Planning & Development for the city of Newton and Nancy Hyde, Economic Development Director for the city of Newton.

The Shops at Chestnut Hill (formerly known as The Mall at Chestnut Hill), announced the Center’s name change in early July, and also a major façade renovation which included, the redesigned main mall entrance, an expanded vestibule, automatic hands free doors, new mall signage, re-branded directional signage, energy efficient upgrades such as LED lighting , and an overall more modern and cohesive look throughout the entire shopping center.
