Sons of Liberty Spirits is a Rhode Island based distillery that is proud to lead the rebirth of American Whiskey by challenging century old traditions with American Single Malt Whiskies born from distinctly flavorful beers and the first ever seasonal line of whiskies.

On Wednesday, January 27, the colonial-inspired Tap Trailhouse welcomes food and whiskey enthusiasts to enjoy a four-course dinner from Executive Chef Matt Barre paired with whiskeys from Rhode Island-based spirit company Sons of Liberty. The prix fixe menu is available for one night only, offered at $70 and includes a four-course dinner with cocktail pairings.

Executive Chef Matt Barre highlights the American-made whiskey with dishes inspired by the flavors of New England including True Born Gin Cured Gravlax with honey roasted beets, toasted pine nuts, fresh dill, and aged balsamic. Corporate Beverage Director Michael Boughton will be mixing up expertly paired cocktails featuring Sons of Liberty spirits, like the Beez Geneez with Sons of Liberty True Born Gin, Domaine de Canton, fresh lemon, and honey.

Sons of Liberty is revolutionizing and redefining American Whiskey through creating innovative takes on classic spirits. Through a collection of seasonal whiskeys, single malt whiskeys crafted from beloved beers, and challenging century old traditions, the distillery has put several new-thinking products on the market. Among their seasonal whiskey offerings is the popular Pumpkin Spice Whiskey, which is featured on the January 27th Whiskey Dinner menu at Tap Trailhouse.

The full menu for the evening is as follows:

1st Course

2nd Course

Pumpkin Bisque

Curried Popcorn, Toasted Pumpkin Seed Oil, Candied Kumquats

Patch Punch: Sons of Liberty Pumpkin Spiced Whiskey, Orange, Lemon, Allspice

3rd Course

Battle Cry Slow Roasted Duck Leg

Charred Polenta, Braised Fennel, Stone Fruit Mostarda

Sons of Liberty Battle Cry Single Malt Whiskey, neat

4th Course

Chocolate Babka

Uprising Syrup, Toasted Almonds, Coffee Crumble

The dinner is $70 per person (not including tax and gratuity). Space is limited and reservation are required. Please call 617.367.0033 to make a reservation.

A credit card will be required to hold reservation and will be charged on day of the event. Cancellations must be made 24 hours before time of the event for any and all refunds.
