VNA Hospice in Dire Need of Volunteers
The Visiting Nurses Association desperately needs hospice volunteers, including the Newton area.

VNA Hospice Care, a nonprofit organization that patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families, is looking for hospice volunteers to provide companionship to patients and respite time for family members.
According to a spokesperson for the VNA, the organization is in âdire needâ of volunteers, and they are needed in many areas, including Newton.
Volunteers are men and women who come from diverse backgrounds and range in age from 20s to 80s; the common bond is a desire to share time and compassion with others. A strong need exists for volunteers who are available during the day, are bilingual, or can provide pet or music therapy. No previous experience is necessary.
