Wally's Ice Cream Ready to Open for the Season

The popular Newton ice cream shop will be open Thursday - Sunday until April school vacation.

A sure sign of spring? Wally's is opening this week.

Auburndale's own Wally's Wicked Good Ice Cream plans to open its doors for the 2013 season this Thursday, March 14 at 1 p.m., according to an email from owner Anita Alden.

For all the kids out there -- Thursday is an early release day in the Newton Public Schools, so you will have plenty of time to stop by and grab a cone.
