Crossroads Coffeehouse is thrilled to bring back Duwende, a six- person vocal band, on March 12, 2011. Tickets are $18.
Duwende (Doo-WEN-day) is best known for its fiercely original, bass-and-beatbox-driven funk/pop style of music. Based in New York, Duwende made its mark with shows in traditional rock clubs and venues, but in addtion to playing Crossroads before, they’ve also appeared at music festivals, colleges, and special events all around the country. Their two most recent albums won the 2005 and 2008 Best Pop/Rock Album and Best Pop/Rock Original Song CARAs.
Doors open at 7:30 PM, and the show starts at 8:00 PM. Crossroads Coffeehouse is located on the second floor of Old Center Hall, 3 Great Pond Road, directly across the street from the North Parish Church in North Andover, Massachusetts.

In its 22nd season, Crossroads Coffeehouse is an all age, alchohol free venue operated by volunteers from the North Parish UU Church. Desserts, coffee, and tea are available for purchase before the show and at intermission.
