Crossroads Coffeehouse presents a double bill of folk music. Vanessa Torres is returning to Crossroads having received a rousing ovation when she opened for Antje Duvekot last season. Torres’s songs and performance are soulful personal portraits rooted in universal themes of compassion and hope. We’re About 9 is new to Crossroads, but has been made a name for themselves at music festivals throughout the country. Their sound colorfully blends acoustic guitar backed harmonies with pop, blues, and coffeehouse rock. Crossroads Coffeehouse is run by volunteers of North Parish UU chuch, the show is at Old Center Hall, 3 Great Pond Road. Tickets are $12 and may be purchased at www.crossroadscoffeehouse.org or at the door. Showtime is 8 p.m, doors open 7:30. Hope to see you there
