Historical Society Summer Programs
The following was submitted by the North Andover Historical Society.

This Saturday marks the first of a series of Saturdays when you can visit the Parson Barnard House -- North Andover's most famous landmark!
Costumed interpreters will lead the way, and Revolutionary War reenactors will be encamped on the site. Admission is free, but we ask to consider a donation to help support the preservation of the house or a sale in our gift shop to help us keep your local history alive.
Also, the North Andover Historical Society will present a unique program of summer fun, "Adventures in Time," recomended for kids ages 7 to 13.
July 11 to 15:Our New Nation
Participants will embark on an adventure of discovery into the lives of those who made the newly-formed United States a reality. You will learn all about the sailor's life with a trip to Salem Massachusetts to visit the Peabody-Essex, the House of Seven Gables and the Salem Maritime National Park. This is your chance to cook over the Historical Society's outdoor fireplace, create a Penney Rug and your own quilt top. You will also visit the Addison Museum of American Art to learn how art can open a window into the past.

A Big Birthday Party for all will end our week.
Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., supervised lunch period
(child must bring their own food and beverage).
Fee: $140 a week, $250 for two weeks (NAHS Family members receive 20 percent discount, second child receives 10 percent discount),
