North Andover Charity Participates in 'Shop For A Cause' on Saturday at the Northshore Mall

The Macy's at the Northshore Mallis having a big charity event on Saturday — and there's a North Andover connection.

Shoppers can buy $5 "savings pass" to get up to 25 percent off on items — even items already on sale.

The program has raised more than $45 million for charity since 2006, the retailer reports.

You can buy the passes at Macy's or at A Little Easier Recovery, a North Andover nonprofit that aids people recovering from cancer. Nationally, proceeds from this year's event benefit the March of Dimes.
