North Andover Launches Financial Transparency Portal

The CLEARGOV site includes town finances, demographics, and school information.

NORTH ANDOVER, MA — The North Andover town government has launched a online financial transparency portal, it announced Monday. The new portal, a CLEARGOV site, shows town demographic information, budgets over time, school enrollment numbers and debt. The most recent data is for Fiscal Year 2019.

The town spent $97.5 million on $99.1 million revenues in Fiscal Year 2019. That's about $3,200 per capita, and a nearly 20 percent increase from $81.6 million in expenditures in Fiscal Year 2013. The site also breaks down revenues and expenditures by source and category.

The median North Andover household has earns $109,371 per year, over 40 percent above the state median. The median home is worth $484,500, 32 percent above the state median. The town's population of 30,589 includes 3,150 school age children.
