North Andover Selectmen Okay Property Tax Cut For Homeowners
The average North Andover homeowner will see their tax bill drop by about $350 next year.

NORTH ANDOVER, MA -- North Andover Selectmen accepted a recommendation from Town Manager Andrew Maylor Monday night to set the fiscal 2019 residential property tax rate at $13.57 per $1,000 of assessed value, down from $14.53 this year. The reduction, coupled with a shift to put more of the tax burden on commercial properties, means the owner of the average-sized home in North Andover will see their tax bill drop by $350 next year.
Selectmen also cut the commercial property tax rate to $19.42 per $1,000 of assessed value from $21.34.
