Algonquin Grad Lands Role in CBS TV Series
A graduate from the class of 1988 is (hopefully) going to have a recurring role in a new series on CBS.

Jeff Johnson is hoping that his role on a new CBS series becomes a recurring one.
Johnson, who graduated from Algonquin Regional High School in 1988, plays the role of Marty Gilson on "Vegas," airing Nov. 13.
"Gilson is with the Las Vegas gaming control board, and making things difficult for the mob and their dubious business methods," said Johnson. "The character is introduced in the episode airing on Nov. 13, hopefully to recur later."

"I'm coming up on 18 years out here now," he said. "I don't know whether to laugh or cry."
Johnson said he's done dozens of TV shows already, so he wouldn't consider landing the role on "Vegas" a "big break."
"I'm still waiting on that," said Johnson.
