Former Northborough Man Pleads Guilty To Steroid Trafficking, Firearm Charges (patch.com) — A former Northborough resident has admitted to federal charges tied to a steroid and methamphetamine trafficking scheme that also involved seven firearms. Investigators previously searched his former Northborough home, seizing cash, drugs, weapons and records, and he now faces potentially lengthy prison terms with sentencing set for early 2027.
3. Northborough plaza sold by longtime owners for $7.1M (wbjournal.com subscription) — A long family-owned shopping plaza on Route 20 in Northborough has been sold for $7.1 million to a local commercial real estate investor. The new owner, based in Northborough, plans capital improvements and potential tenant changes at the Northboro Shopping Center, which houses familiar spots like Rocky's ACE Hardware, Bank of America, and Jolly Roger's Diner.
4. 9 Fall Harvest Festivals In Massachusetts That Belong On Your Bucket List (takingthekids.com) — One of the featured fall stops is Tougas Family Farm in Northborough, where you can pick from dozens of apple varieties, enjoy wagon rides, and let kids loose on a big farm playground. The statewide roundup highlights festivals and orchards across Massachusetts, but gives Northborough residents specific hours, directions, and reasons to make their own local farm a must-do autumn outing.
5. Massachusetts took their daughter. The full file is still sealed. (investmentwatchblog.com) — A custody dispute involving Joseph and Arlene Kutzko from the Southborough–Northborough area has drawn online attention after a viral post claimed Massachusetts took their daughter solely over gender-identity disagreements. A fact-check confirms DCF removed the child and juvenile records are sealed, but also notes court documents alleging an assault by the father, meaning the family's explanation has not been confirmed by any public ruling.
