Thought and Poem – May 14, 2015
When you have nothing else in the world to talk about…among friends…there is always the weather? I can remember when I was young how when the older folks got together they talked about their illnesses, their families’ illnesses…the Red Sox…or the…weather.
I swore that I would not be one of those who had nothing better to talk about when I was their ages and here I am…60 years later…talking about the weather. I need to get a life! You think?

Anyhow, talking about the weather is okay. It has been exciting lately. It rained until you thought you might have to build your own boat, then it got windy and you thought you should best take down the sails...then it go so hot the waters dried up and now…the temperatures have dropped and who knows what will come our way?
I don’t know about you, but I thought we were in the springtime season? Today it looks and feels like we might get some snow? I am hoping the winds will keep blowing these dark wintery clouds…out to the ocean.

I am one who likes things to be what they are supposed to be and to be them when they are supposed to be. Snow and colder temperatures belong in the winter….rain and winds at the beginning of spring and some rain and lots of sunshine and warm temperatures in the spring!
What about you? Is this drop in temperature leaving you confused to the point that you are taking your winter clothes back out from storage? Share your thoughts with us…Jeanne Claire Probst
Confusing Weather…
Sorry if I seem a little bit confused
But I just heard on the news
That we are going to see a drastic drop in the temperature
Like the temps we see in winter.
Holy Moly what is happening?
I am finding it hard to believe…
One day it is almost one hundred degrees…
And just a few days later…we might freeze?
Hello? I am not sure what to do.
I thought winter was over…and you probably thought so too?
Such crazy weather we have been having these last few days…
That we might just be prepared for anything that might come our way?
Is it going to be rainy?
Is going to be hazy?
Is the wind going to blow?
Will we see some snow?
I am not so sure anymore…
As this weather has me confused and…furthermore…
I don’t know which way to prepare for my days…
As it might be hot one minute, cold the next…but I am hoping it is just a crazy mixed-up weather phase.
