Flag Retirment

What:
In honor of Flag Day and in keeping with the dignified disposal of worn out
flags, Boy Scouts will be conducting a United States Flag Retirement Ceremony.
The ceremony is open to all Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts and Brownies to
participate by presenting worn flags to the American Legion Post Ceremonial
Officer for inspection and proper disposal into the ceremonial fire. The Post
Honor Guard will also be part of the ceremony.

The
ceremony is open to the public and is well recognized as an honored and
memorable event.

The
ceremony is approximately 30 minutes.
