If Your Water's a Bit Brown and Loses Pressure, Here's Why

It's water-flushing time in Northborough.

NORTHBOROUGH, MA — The DPW began its water-flushing schedule on April 1, and continues on Fridays through April 29.

Flushing happens during the evening hours to minimize potential problems with discolored water or lower than normal pressure.

There may be a temporary drop in water pressure, and also discolored or cloudy water. These conditions will subside in a few hours after the flushing is completed.
