Level 3 Sex Offender Arrested in Northborough After Investigation

Police arrested a Northborough man and conducted a search of a Northborough home after an investigation stemming from a report filed by a victim that he was indecently touched during in incident in August.

Police arrested Jeffrey Bickford, 37, 3 Belmont St., Northborough. Bickford is listed as a Level 3 sex offender on the National Sex Offender Registry.

Sgt. Brian Griffin said the matter is still under investigation, but confirmed that a search was conducted on Sept. 29.

WCVB reported that Bickford was arrested on charges of indecent assault and battery on a person older than 14, and also that during the search, police found videos of himself in the nude and child pornography on his computer.

The registry lists five offenses charged to Bickford in January, 2007: indecent assault and battery on person older than 14 and four counts of rape and abuse of a child.
