Log: NPD Responds to Numerous Complaints of 'Barking Dogs' Who Aren't Barking When They Get There
The following are excerpts from the Northborough police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Oct. 17
- At 10:14 a.m., police responded to complains that a dog was locked in a motor vehicle, Shops Way. Offcers checked and the animal was not in distress. An announcement was made to locate the owner.
- At 12:55 a.m., a report was received that a large turtle was on Church Street. Officers could not find the turtle upon arrival, proving the turtle was faster than turtles are usually considered.
- At 11:40 a.m., police responded to a neighbor reporting an issue with a barking dog, Easy Street
- At 5:13 p.m., police responded to a MVA on Southwest Cutoff. no injuries.
- At 6:31 p.m., police resonded to a two-car MVA on Southwest Cutoff
- At 11:47 p.m., police responded to a neighbor complaint of a dog barking on Whitney Street.
Saturday, Oct. 18
- At 10 p.m., police responded to complaints of a barking dog on Whitney Street. No dog barking upon arrival.
- At 10:22 p.m., police responded to another complaint of a barking dog on Whitney Street. Officer noted a faint sound in the distance and is unable to determine if it’s 429 Whitney St.
