Thought and Poem – June 13, 2015
Don’t you wish our lives weren’t centered on having money? Don’t you wish we could all have what we needed and be content to the point that we don’t think about wanting more things.
When Adam and Eve were placed in their garden home, they didn’t have or need money. But they had food, water, clean air to breathe; they were healthy and free roam the earth…all without the aid of money. Can you see it now; their children coming out of the Eve’s womb with a credit card or debit card attached to the umbilical cord? Not.

Life could be so different if we did not have money. Instead of trying to keep up with the best houses, cars or technology, we would be making sure that we had what we needed for the day and then checked up on our neighbors to make sure they had the same. Life could be so different…you think?
What about you? If money wasn’t a part of life, how would your life be different? Share your thoughts with us…Jeanne Claire Probst

Money doesn’t grow on trees…?
Wish money wasn’t such a major factor in our lives…
Things would be so different I do believe…
If we all had to work with what we had instead of what we could buy…
There would be much change in the “love thy neighbor” department if to live without money we all did try.
No…money does not grow on trees…
I think in this thought we could all agree…
But it seems a shame that we crave it so much…
Because when God created man and woman…they didn’t need such.
It would be nice to be content with our daily needs…
And not live among those who seek to keep buying things…
Being greedy will only bring one to ruin…
And the consequences would be because of one’s doing.
If we needed money God would have started bank accounts for us…
And a debit card would have come out of the womb with the money we could draw on from some sort of Bank Trust…
I can tell you this did not happen to me…
So continuing to wish for money…isn’t going to help get me things.
I will be happy with what I have…
I will wish to have all the same that my neighbors might have…
So I am thinking about moving to Beverly Hills…
Where like my new neighbors I can have a nice home, a nice car and money to pay all my bills.
