Will it be too late?

Thought and Poem – March 14, 2015

With the ability to travel the world much easier today than it was a hundred years ago, you would think that mankind would have made progress towards being able to assure that people all over the world have everything they need.

Whether we cross all the oceans and seas, climb all the mountains, or go anywhere where people would be you can see suffering. This can be displeasing because there is so much more we can offer to one another that all should be living satisfied lives. If we were to do away with greed and replace this with loving one another and having personal interest in one another and their needs, life could be a whole lot better for all.

Many will agree that perhaps we have done our share, but people are still suffering everywhere and we should want to open our hands and do what we can…to help each other…our fellowman. So whether or not we have “done our share,” we must continue to reach out until we have settled the debt caused by greed and lack of love.

It doesn’t matter where you look, or whichever nation you pick to explore, people’s needs have long been ignored and it needs to be remedied before we have to stand by and watch one another die unnecessarily…why? Because of greed…please!

Will it be too late?

If we were to cross all the oceans,

Climb the highest mountains,

Travel the whole world around…together…you and me,

We would be amazed at what we would see.

Did you know that the people in Africa, India, Australia

Need to eat every day as we do here in America?

Did you know that medical care for people who are without medicine is needed?

In countries around us such as South America, Pakistan, Europe; and in general wherever people are trying to ward off disease?

Why do some people have nothing?

Why do other people have more than what they can use or what they need?

If we were to travel the world around answers could be found and we would see that the power behind not caring for others…is selfish greed,

And we would see how this made people worldwide…less loving?

But, we need to turn our thinking and actions around,

Otherwise people will be dropping dead like flies to the ground,

And there would be no need for you and me to travel the world,

As at some point there will be no people left living on the earth!
