Riverside Theatre Works presents the Tony-award-winning musical "Cabaret," running from May 9 through May 18 at the historic French’s Opera House, 45 Fairmount Ave. in Hyde Park. Cabaret is set in 1931 Berlin, as the Nazis are rising to power. The immersive set -- with some seats directly onstage -- takes the audience inside the seedy Kit Kat Klub. Performances take place May 9 and 10 at 8 p.m., May 11 at 2 p.m., May 16 and 17 at 8 p.m., and May 18 at 2 p.m. Tickets cost $20-$25, and can be purchased at www.rtwboston.org or 1-866-811-4111.
