• Hiker Injured on Mount Osceola (nhfishgame.com) — A North Reading man was injured while hiking near the summit of Mount Osceola in New Hampshire after slipping on a muddy section of trail, prompting a rescue by conservation officers and volunteers. He was carried down to the trailhead, reunited with his family, and planned to seek medical care the next day, as officials reminded hikers to be prepared and support rescue efforts.
