New North Reading High Opens on Monday

After years of planning and discussions, the new North Reading High School will open to students on Monday.

Students already got a tour of the new facility last week and the North Reading community will get to see for themselves on Saturday, Sept. 20.

There are not only changes for high-schoolers. Middle School students are also shifting to a new building for the school year. The old high school will house the middle school students while massive reconstruction is done at the old middle school.

Ultimately, the new high school and middle school will feature one large campus with some facilities that the two schools will share.

The shift to the old high school also means a new traffic pattern to learn. Here is what you need to know about pickup and drop-off at the middle school this year.
