North Reading School Committee Chairman Not Running for Re-Election: Report
Cliff Bowers will not be running for a fourth term during the May 2 town election.
NORTH READING, MA — After three terms serving the North Reading School Committee, Chairman Cliff Bowers has announced that he will not seek re-election in the upcoming town election.
According to a report from the North Reading Transcript, Bowers will be running for re-election in the May 2 town election. Bowers was appointed chairman of the committee last May.
In an interview with the transcript, Bowers detailed his reasons for not running for re-election, and his most fond memories of serving on the school committee.
