The University of New Hampshire has honored 13 North Reading students for their academic success last fall.The thirteen students named to the UNH Dean's List for the Fall 2017 Semester are Kristina Fusco (High Honors), Rachel Goodreau (High Honors), Lily Malloy (Highest Honors), Matthew Paolucci (High Honors), Timothy Russell (High Honors), Kellie Sovak (High Honors), Emily Schille (Honors), Alyson Kelleher (Honors), Michael Pappas (Honors), Zachary Robarts (Highest Honors), Emily Sullivan (Highest Honors), Jackson Hastings (High Honors), and Shane Bartlett (Honors).Students named to the Dean's List at the University of New Hampshire are students who have earned recognition through their superior scholastic performance during a semester enrolled in a full-time course load (12 or more graded credits). Highest honors are awarded to students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.85 or better out of a possible 4.0. Students with a 3.65 to 3.84 average are awarded high honors and students whose grade point average is 3.5 through 3.64 are awarded honors.

The Artisan Market at the Mills is the largest handmade market in North Andover, featuring ~120 artisans and specialty food vendors from all over New England. The 2026 Artisan Market will be held on Sunday, May 31st from 10-3 and is a rain or shine event. The Market will be held in the parking lot behind the West Mill at 50 High St. Ample parking is available directly across the street in the East Mill parking garage. Admission to the market and parking are both FREE. Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome!Plenty of food and fun activities for families!

The Temple Emanuel Sisterhood invites the community to Mah Jongg Madness, an afternoon of friendly competition, connection, and fun for Mah Jongg players of all experience levels. 
Open to the public, this community event will feature Mah Jongg play, prizes, table rotations, and opportunities to socialize with friends—both old and new. To encourage engagement and friendly competition, players of varying skill levels will be mixed and tables will rotate throughout the afternoon. Instructions on rules, scoring, and movement will be provided at check-in, along with a brief overview before play begins. Light refreshments will be served.COST:
