On April 9, 1865, Generals Robert E. Lee and Ulysses S. Grant met in the village of Appomattox Courthouse, where Lee accepted the terms of surrender which would eventually lead to the end of the Civil War. Witness history as once again professor and historian Gary Hylander takes us back in time.
