Teen Volunteer Training

Thursday June 11, 2015 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM Teen Volunteer Training Contact: Leslianne Costello 508-286-2696 lcostello@sailsinc.org

Be a Teen Volunteer at the Norton Library this summer, and earn tons of community service hours doing stuff you actually like! We have a job for everyone:
Like kids? You can give out prizes to young readers, help families find books, or lend a hand at children’s events.
Like art? We need face-painters, photo-booth designers, wall artists and window painters!
Like computers? Be a our technology guru and help patrons with the library eCatalog and eBook software.
Like your camera? Get hours just for taking photos of our summer events.
Like books? Volunteer Shelf Managers keep our books in order, hunt down missing ones, and recommend titles for the library to purchase.
Registration and training is required to volunteer during the summer. Once trained, you’ll make your own work schedule. Do NOT show up late for a training session.
To join the Summer Volunteer crew, students entering grades 6-12 must attend one (and ONLY one) of our 1.5 hour training sessions in June. Register on our website or in the library.
Location: Community Room
