NORWOOD, MA — Norwood police responded to two separate incidents this week involving a rollover crash and a series of vehicle break-ins.
Officers responded to a road rage incident shortly after 5 p.m. Tuesday near the skating rink on University Avenue that ended with a vehicle overturning and landing on its roof, the Norwood Police Department said.
Police did not provide information about injuries or say whether anyone was cited or charged in connection with the crash.
During the overnight hours, officers received multiple reports of vehicle break-ins. An area resident called police after seeing suspicious people checking vehicle door handles, the department said.
Midnight shift officers located and arrested three suspects believed to be responsible, police said. Their names and the charges against them were not immediately released.
Police urged residents to lock their vehicles and homes and avoid leaving valuables, electronics or keys inside cars. The department also asked residents to report suspicious activity.
