Benefit dance at Concannon's in Norwood

The combined Irish clubs of Boston and Massachusetts are holding a benefit dance on December 29th at Concannon's Village in Norwood to aid the hurricane victims of St. Nicholas of Tolentine Parish in Atlantic City, New Jersey.  The event will start at 5.30pm and rune 'til midnight.  There will be a number of Irish bands playing at the event including Erin's Melody, Noel Henry's Irish showband, Kathy and the Irish Americans and Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann.

There is a desperate shortage of new clothing, blankets, baby items and of course cash.  These misfortunate people have lost their homes and belongings so the Irish clubs will try to alleviate some of the suffering.  Clothing items may be dropped off at Concannon's the evening of the event.  Any donations can be forwarded to St. Nicholas of Tolentine Parish at Post Office Box 4132, Dedham, MA  02027, Anna McAuliffe at 5 Mathaurs Street, Milton 02181 or contact the President of your local Irish club.

There will be a number of raffles so gift certificates or raffle prizes will be sincerely appreciated.  The people of New Jersey thanks all for their generosity.
