Morrill Memorial Library, in partnership with Norwood Economic Development Department,  is thrilled to announce the second program in our Entrepreneurship series called Building Smarter Business with AI. The program will take place on Thursday May 21, 2026 at 7PM in the Simoni Room.

Artificial intelligence is transforming how businesses operate—but much of the conversation around AI is confusing or overly technical. Please join Sandra A. Casey, MIT-trained engineer and founder of Ugabot, as she explains how AI can be used for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). In this practical talk, Sandra will explain what AI really is and how SMBs can start using it today to save time, reduce costs, and gain a competitive edge.

Designed for entrepreneurs and small business owners at any stage of their AI journey, this session will break down the technology in simple terms and show how businesses are already using AI to improve productivity and streamline operations.

About the Speaker: Sandra A. Casey is an MIT-trained engineer and founder of Ugabot, a Norwood-based AI automation firm helping small and mid-sized businesses improve efficiency through AI agents, analytics, and workflow automation. Sandra began her AI software career in 2019 at Citrine Informatics, building machine learning systems for materials research. She later developed AI software across industries including real estate, fintech, and HR technology, and now helps businesses implement practical AI solutions through Ugabot.
