Ernie Boch Jr. Wants to Give Donald Trump $1 Million

So far, the presidential candidate has refused to accept large dollar donations.

Well known car dealer Ernie Boch Jr. would like to donate $1 million to Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, but can’t due to individual contributor limits.

Boch told The Hill that he would be willing to make the high dollar donation, but Trump has no vehicle to accept it. Federal campaign laws allow for individuals to donate up to $2,700 to an individual candidate. If Boch were to make a higher donation, it would need to be through a Trump-supporting Super-PAC, something the candidate has refused to endorse.

So far, Trump has said no to high figure donations, saying he does not want to owe any donors if he becomes president. Boch does believe that Trump will be open to taking more money if he wins the Republican nomination.
