Gr1 Class at SCS, Norwood recognized for Kindness Tuesday
St. Catherine of Siena School's Gr 1 students show kindness to patients at Norwood Hospital

Saint Catherine of Siena School's First Grade class sets aside Tuesday as a day to show kindness in a very special way. Their teacher, Mrs. Gorman, decided that the children would make cards to be distributed to patients at the Norwood Hospital. Mrs. Elizabeth Ekborg King, one of SCS' crossing guards, ministers to patients at the hospital by bringing them Communion. Each Tuesday, the cards from grade one students are hand-delivered to Mrs. King and she in turn brings them to the patients each Wednesday. According to Mrs. King, the patients thoroughly enjoy receiving the cards. What a beautiful lesson in showing kindness to strangers. Thank you to Mrs. Gorman and her first graders!
