I-95 Crash Kills Woman In Norwood

NORWOOD, MA — A 31-year-old Avon woman was killed in a crash on I-95 South Sunday afternoon.

Police said the victim was driving near Exit 11A when her Ford Fusion went from the left lane to the middle and struck a Toyota Corolla. The victim's Ford bounced into the median and came to rest against a tree. She was taken to Norwood Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The sole occupant of the Toyota, a 37-year-old man from Sharon, was uninjured.
