Man With Norwood Ties Wanted for Child Rape

SHARON, MA — A man whose last known address was in Sharon is wanted by police.

The Sharon Police Department has asked for the public's assistance with finding 29-year-old Erik William Silva. Police say he may also go by Erik Almeida and has ties to Norwood and the New York/New Jersey area.

Following an investigation, Sharon police have three arrest warrants for Almeida for rape of a child with force, rape of a child with a 10-year age difference, and indecent assault and battery on a person 14 or old.
