Norwood Funeral Director Under State Investigation For Body Mix Up Surrenders License

NORWOOD, MA — A funeral director in the middle of a state investigation has turned over his funeral director license, according to WFXT. George Kornack, who has operated Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home with his son for more than 30 years, stands accused of burying the wrong bodies last month.

A source told WFXT that three were buried in Norwood's Highland Cemetery in Norwood and one was buried in the Rock Ridge Cemetery in Sharon. One body that was supposed to be waked was switched with a body to be buried, investigators allege.

The incident is still under investigation.
